Visit of secretary of state Mr. Wiebes and members of VVD and business organizations
On Saturday March 14th Reining Transport was visited by secretary of state Mr. Eric Wiebes, the VVD members of parliament Mrs. Betty de Boer and Mr. Arno Rutte, provincial executive Mr. Marc Bouman, chairman Mrs. Miriam Wulfse and VVD campaign manager Jaap Borg. The visit was part of a visit to the province of Groningen.
The delegation comprised representatives of various business organizations as well: Mr Alfred Welink chairman VNO-NCW North, Mr. Rudi Kleinhuis formerly director KPMG and Mr. Sieger Dijkstra chairman of Economic Board Groningen.
Various items were discussed in an open discussion. International competition both in the field of social issues and taxes, European policies and legislation for northern companies, the northern business climate and the current situation in the transport sector. But also the differences in the regional legislation regarding licensing within the Netherlands were discussed.
It was a useful meeting for all attendants.
