As per October the 1st, Reining will transfer its storage activities, carried out by Reining Logistics in the high-rise warehouse on Industrieweg 4 in Hoogezand, to J. Wildeman Storage & Logistics B.V. The customers and staff are already informed. Reining Logistics rented a capacity of approximately 15,000 pallet places in the building, which has been owned by Wildeman since this year. Reining has decided to stop this activity because the storage of goods in high-rise warehouses is not one of its core activities. With the transfer, 5 employees will also transfer to Wildeman.
Reining’s core activity focuses primarily on international volume transport in Germany, France, Switzerland, Northern Italy and the Benelux, and Reining recently acquired another company in Germany for this purpose. Wildeman focuses on storage and transhipment activities in the Northern part of the Netherlands and can therefore give the right attention to this activity. Reining still has a building for storing standard products in the form of “block stacking” in Hoogezand and will continue to do so.
